This unique material is being used for more than fifty years in ball-mills over the five continents.

The grey-blue silex of this quality is extracted in the province of Liège and more precisely at Eben-Emael.

Our handicraftsmen fashion and shape the silex blocks on the stoneyards near the quarry of the raw material.

They also produce complete linings following the drawings of the mill. This is a kit in which each block is numbered.

The masons will then only have to follow up the built-in and settingplan provided with the kit.

The quality of the material, its chemical composition, its wear- and shockresistance are regularly tested by ISSEP (National Institute for Mining Industries Liège).

The qualitative fashioning and assemblage of the blocks are artisan's pride whose craft is transmitted from father to son, which gives the best guarantee.
